It is well nigh now a decade Since the revelation came In early morn my spirit prayed Must I ponder or proclaim The Order of Melchizedek Became my second calling Complete with awesome double check Though self-doubt led to stalling A priest forever God's Word read Handmaid brought confirmation Lord says you're thirty laughing said Creating consternation For I had just turned fifty-one But she knew next to nothing Of what that day the Lord had done Godincidence is striking When priests began to minister Before Gods holy altar Age thirty meant investiture And faith at times may falter But God is calling forth these days A new and ancient priesthood Well versed in both His works and ways Dividing truth from falsehood Communing oft with bread and wine And one in mind and spirit They freely five-fold gifts combine When God ordains a summit This is the first and final call To echo inner witness In those who serve the Lord of all And worship Him in oneness
